I was born in Germany. Moved to NY in 1999 to be with the love of my life, Tony, an accomplished musician. We have a beautiful son, Hendrix, who is my inspiration in photography and in life. My background in photography comes from being a journalist for many years in Cologne, Germany which is definitely influencing my photographic style being somewhat documentary and always trying to capture the essence of life around me. In NY, I have worked as an Executive Assitant as well as a Project Manager for the PR department of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, for the ad agency Saatchi & Saatchi and Live Nation to name just a few. In 2009, I decided to start my own photography company and since then I have been working as a photographer specializing in portraits, interiors and food. In 2013, I added youth sports photography to my repertoire and founded Team Spirit Photo. In addition to my own clients, I have also been shooting as one of the lead photographers for Stomping Ground Photo, NY’s leading and most innovative School Portrait Company. I have a Masters degree in Literature and Art History and I speak 3 languages. Traveling, skiing and music are my passions. I divide my time between Brooklyn and Woodstock.
